![]() There is a name and number on the front of the outside box but I thought I would give the forum a try before I try to call. I am the second owner of the house so I am trying to source the gentlemans number who fitted the alarm. Needless to say I dont have an engineers manual and have no idea what a call out would cost. ![]() We have the engineering code so I was wondering if anyone knows how to reset the alarm? I referred to my instructions but from what I can gather (I am not a great DIYer) that the system needs an engineer reset as the other options are a customer or remote reset and I dont think it is any of them. However after we entered the house and keyed in the code to deactivate the alarm we now have a solid red spanner light and a constant flashing message on the display saying "reset required burg zone 2 lounge" and I dont know what to do. We are unsure as too what activated the alarm as my parents checked around the outside of the house before we came home and we double checked inside and everything looked fine. The alarm was set off when we were out yesterday and had since stopped on our arrival home. ![]() I have a Cooper Menvier Scantronic 9651 alarm system (approx 3 years old).
